Another 5,000 Remdesivir doses to be brought to Moldova in months to come

Chisinau, 9 October /MOLDPRES/ - Another 5,000 doses of Remdesivir, - the medicine authorized for the treatment of COVID-19 in the USA and EU, will be brought to Moldova in the months to come. The director general of the Medicine and Medical Devices Agency (AMDM), Eremei Priseajniuc, who signed the authorization for the preparation’s import, has made statements to this effect.

According to Priseajniuc, the consignment of Remdesivir, with the commercial name Desrem, is scheduled to reach Chisinau on the immediately next period.

AMDM has earlier authorized the import of about 2,000 bottles of Remdesivir, with the commercial name Covifor, for the first time ever.

In Moldova, the preparation Remdesivir is provided for in the national provisional clinical protocol, The infection with the new-type coronavirus, used in the treatment of patients infected with SARS COV-2.
