Moldovan authorities update list of states for which quarantine regime is imposed

Chisinau, 9 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS) has approved the list of states for which self-isolation regime is imposed upon people’s entrance in Moldova. The document contains 60 states, among which Romania, Russia and Ukraine.  

According to data by MSMPS, the list was worked out in line with the decision by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission and will be valid two weeks. Most countries where Moldovans work, among which France, Italy, Israel, Portugal, Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Spain and the USA, have been included in the new list.  

The list is updated once in 14 days on Friday and enters into force on Monday of the next week. The indicator for the inclusion in the list of the states, for which self-isolation regime is imposed at people’s entrance in Moldova, represents   higher incidence of cases of infection with COVID-19 or equal to 50 cases per 100,000 residents.  

People entering Moldova from the countries included in the list will compulsorily fill in an epidemiological card and will isolate themselves for 14 days.
