Moldovan deputy premier visits more settlements from eastern Dubasari district

Chisinau, 9 October /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic today paid a visit to a string of settlements from the eastern Dubasari district, among which Holercani, Dorotcaia and Cosnita, placed in the Security Zone. The official met the local public administration, mayors, councilors, citizens, economic agents and local residents, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The visit to Holercani included discussions at the mayoralty on the current situation in the settlement, finishing the project on the arrangement of a multifunctional stadium from the village, backed from the government’s reintegration funds, allocated in 2020. The visit also included exchanges of opinions with local residents on the reception of the pension through the post office, quality of services, cooperation with the mayoralty.
Another visit was paid to the Dorotcaia settlement, where a project on streets’ illumination was completed and another one on the putting into operation of a water tower is going to be finished. Both projects are from the PART financial resources of the government from this year.
The visit to the Dubasari district continued with a joint meeting at the District Council, in which more mayors, local councilors and economic agents participated. The district’s leadership, jointly with Cristina Lesnic, discussed more subjects of interest, such as the implementation of projects from settlements with the financial support of the Action Programme for Country’s Reintegration (PART), level of implementation, freedom of movement, removing of the illegal posts and obstacles to the free movement, mechanism of signaling and documenting of eventual incidents in the Security Zone, including during the electoral campaign and on the election day, other specific problems from the settlement.
Another subject of discussion was focused on the movement by the ferryboat, which connects the Molovata village with Molovata Noua and Cocieri, specific problems from the settlements, cooperation between the central and local public administration.
The Reintegration Policies Bureau, Moldova’s Delegation to the Joint Control Commission, the leadership of the district council, State Chancellery’s representative in the territory answered more questions of participants and discussed more solutions and proposals dealing with the zone served.
Also, the sides discussed the situation in the settlements of the Security Zone, subjects on the free movement in the pandemic period and ways of cooperation with the Reintegration Policies Bureau, as well as farmers’ access to their lands.
At the same time, the deputy prime minister for reintegration also took knowledge about other peculiarities on the implementation of new mechanisms and procedures dedicated to improving the local residents’ living. The mayors’ opinion was consulted.
The meeting was constructive and useful.
