As many as 62,151 cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in all

Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,408 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 389 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 62,151 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 30 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 5, medical assistants –15, auxiliary staff employees – 10.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 826 are in serious condition, of whom 39 patients are connected to assisted breathing. At the same time, 1,763 patients are in medium seriousness condition and the other ones are in satisfactory condition.

Another 375 people were treated and discharged today. As many as 44,357 persons have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

In the context, MSMPS informs about the registration of another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,461 people dead of coronavirus in all.
