Children in small groups return to kindergartens in Chisinau

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/- Children aged between two and four in the capital will return to kindergartens. A decision in this regard was taken yesterday by the Public Health Commission / CESP /.
CESP decided that high school pupils will be required to wear masks permanently in educational institutions in the municipality, including lessons. Also, all measures established for the Red Alert Code at COVID-19 remain in force in the capital.
At today's operative meeting of the municipal services, the head of social assistance and health department, Tatiana Bucearschi, said that the capacity of hospitals in the municipality for patients infected with COVID-19 is over 1037 seats, and 100 patients are daily brought at the COVID Center in Moldexpo.
18,085 patients infected with the new coronavirus, who are being treated at home, are being monitored remotely via a digital platform.
According to statistics presented by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, so far 62,151 cases of COVID-19 infection have been registered in Moldova.
