Number of dwellings purchased through First Home program reached 5,079

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/- So far, 5,079 homes have been purchased through the First Home Program. The total amount of loans granted by banks is 2.56 billion lei, and the total value of active guarantees is 1.28 billion lei.

According to the Ministry of Finance, out of the total number of beneficiaries, 3494 are families, and 1585 are unmarried young people. The average age of the applicants is 31 years. Also, out of the total number of beneficiaries, 752 persons benefit from compensations from the state budget under the First Home program 2, 1932 - First Home 3, 469 - First Home 4 and 4 - First Home 5.

The amount of compensations granted from the state budget for the partial coverage of the expenses incurred by the beneficiaries for the payment of the mortgage loan under First Home is 24.30 million lei.

The beneficiary of the First Home program may be a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, aged between 18 and 50 years, who is officially employed at a state institution or private company in the country and has income from official sources.
