Authorities monitor case of kidnapping, depriving of freedom of four Moldovan citizens

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today chaired a working meeting, during which the participants re-brought for discussion the cases of kidnapping and depriving of freedom of four Moldovan citizens by the breakaway authorities from the Transnistrian region, the governments communication and protocol department has reported.
The national authorities discussed the latest developments in the cases which took place on 7-8 October 2020, including the actions undertaken to this end.
Only two out of those four persons are at their residence from the left bank of Dniester.
At the Vienna-based OSCE Permanent Council on 9 October, Moldova unveiled the situation as to the worsening of the human rights in connection with the recent situations. At the same time, more OSCE member states vehemently condemned the obstacles to the free movement and abuses in terms of the fundamental human rights.
The state’s competent authorities take efforts to settle this case.
