Moldovan authorities identify another 200 beds for COVID-19 patients

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau COVID-19 Centre from MoldExpo has extended its capacity by 200 beds for stationary hospital, of which 20 intensive therapy ones, for people who were positively tested with the new-type coronavirus.
According to the city hall’s press service, the centre was endowed with beds, furniture and components needed for taking care of patients. Also, two sanitary units were set inside the building and each sector was equipped with domestic warm water.
For patients’ comfort, more leisure places will be arranged in the centre’s yard with the support of economic agents and TV sets and computers connected to the Internet will be subsequently set, which would be used, if needed. At the same time, physicians will arrange a library of their personal books.
Those 200 beds arranged will be activated if necessary.
