Foreign ministry's press release on accident of bus on Chisinau-Moscow route

Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration has notified about the news broadcast in the national press on an accident in Ukraine of a bus on the Chisinau-Moscow route, the MAEIE press service has reported.

In this context, the Moldovan Embassy in Ukraine contacted the police in Vinnitsa region, which confirmed that on October 11 around 18.40 there was a car accident involving a bus from the Republic of Moldova with 35 passengers on board, and following the accident a citizen of the Russian Federation suffered injuries. Moldovan citizens did not suffer and continued the route to Moscow with another bus, provided by the transport company from the Republic of Moldova.

The Ukrainian authorities have informed our diplomatic mission that an investigation is currently underway to establish the circumstances of the accident.
