Chisinau, 15 October /MOLDPRES/- The government's decision on approving the Concept of the Automated Information System Electronic Register of Employees for state employees will be published in the Official Journal on October 16.

The concept is set up as a result of amendments to the Labor Code and the repeal of the government decision, according to which from September 1, 2019 the mechanism on workbooks is no longer applicable. Also, in the context of the lack of an electronic system of integrated and systematized records of information related to persons employed in the budget sector, including information related to their employment relationships.

The use of the automated information system Electronic Register of Employees is mandatory from January 1, 2021 for the Ministry of Finance and subordinated institutions or in which it has the quality of founder, Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, National Social Insurance House and National Insurance Company.

Ensuring the creation, implementation, operation of the automated information system is the responsibility of the State Tax Service.
