IMF experts to discuss with Moldova's authorities

Chisinau, 16 October /MOLDPRES/ - A team of experts of the International Monetary Fund, led by Ruben Atoyan, will hold online discussions with Moldova’s authorities from the IMF’s headquarters in Washington on 19-27 October.

The mission’s goal is to carry out the regular exercise of collecting information on the recent economic developments, to take knowledge of the implementation of the commitments assumed in the context of the programme agreed upon with the authorities at the level of experts.

„The programme is to be backed through the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) and Extended Finance Facility (EFF); the sides are to also discuss the policies promoted by the authorities, in order to maintain the macro-economic and budgetary stability, including in the context of the budget for 2021,’’ reads a press release by the Fund.
