As many as 67,050 COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in all

Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 1,476 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 398 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 67,050 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 23 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 9, medical assistants –7, auxiliary staff employees – 7.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 898 are in serious condition, of whom 43 patients are connected to assisted breathing. At the same time, 1,456 patients are in medium seriousness condition and the other patients and in satisfactory condition.

Another 612 people were treated and discharged today. As many as 47,842 persons have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

In the context, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 15 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,584 people dead of coronavirus in all.
