More than 5,100 dwellings bought within First Home programme in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 5,108 dwellings have been purchased within the First Home governmental programme. The overall sum of loans provided by banks is of 2.57 billion lei and the total value of active guaranties is 1.28 billion lei.
According to data by the Finance Ministry, 3,517 out of all beneficiaries are families and 1,591 are young unmarried people. The average age of the applicants is 31 years. Also, 755 persons benefit from compensations from the state budget within the First Home 2 programme, 1,936 – within the First Home 3 programme, 484 – within the First Home 4 programme and 3 – within the First Home 5 programme.
The average area of the dwellings bought through the programme is of 60.16 square metres and the average value of the dwellings is 599.11 thousand lei. As many as 4,691 dwellings are apartments and 417 are private houses out of all dwellings bought.
Any Moldova’s citizen with ages between 18 and 50 years, who are officially employed at a state institution or private company from Moldova, and have incomes from official sources, can be beneficiary of the First Home governmental programme.
