Chisinau, 22 October /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the law for amending the Road Transport Code No150/2014 will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova tomorrow and will enter into force.
The document provides for the exclusion of the classification into categories of authorizations for the international carriage of goods by road and the delegation to the government of the powers to set the principles of their distribution. Therefore, the government will be responsible for drawing up and complying with the rules, the conditions for issuing authorizations for the international transport of goods, as well as for controlling their use.
Also, a lot of regulations in the Regulation on the issuance and use of road transport authorizations approved by government decision will be excluded from the Road Transport Code.
The Road Transport Code was adopted by Parliament in July 2014.
By derogation from the provisions of art.56 (2) of the Law No100/2017 on normative acts, this law enters into force on publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova. The government, within 3 months from the date of publication, will put its normative acts in accordance with this law.
