Moldovan authorities update list of states for which quarantine regime is imposed

Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS) has approved the list of states for which self-isolation regime is imposed upon people’s entrance in Moldova, which enters into force as of 26 October. The document contains 67 states, among which Romania, Russia and Ukraine.
The list was elaborated in line with a decision by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission and will be valid two weeks. The list is updated once in 14 days on Fridays and enters into force on Monday of the next week. The indicator for the inclusion in the lists of states for which self-isolation regime is imposed at people’s entrance in Moldova represents the incidence of cases of infection with COVID-19 higher or equal to 50 cases per 100,000 residents.
People due to enter Moldova from the countries included in this list will compulsorily fill in an epidemiological card and will isolate themselves for 14 days.
