As many as 833 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/ --A number of 3,636 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 833 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 71,089 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 43 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –15, medical assistants –18, auxiliary staff employees – 10.
The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 855 are in serious condition, (of whom 43 patients are connected to assisted breathing); 1,460 are in medium seriousness condition, while the other patients are in satisfactory condition.
In the context, 7,488 people are treated at home with easy forms of COVID-19 and 25,496 are under supervision at the domicile.
Another 617 people were treated and discharged from hospitals. As many as 51,719 people have been healed of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 13 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,669 people dead of coronavirus in all.
