„The pandemic situation is not simple; yet, the actions we undertake confirm us that the direction is right. The updating is important in the context of our daily monitoring of the work of kindergartens, schools, vocational institutions and universities during two months after the beginning of the academic year. I reiterate that the experience of the starting of the education process in the COVID context proves us that the school as such is not a source of infection significantly higher than the other activities. It is obvious that when we observe the rules, we minimize the risks. We find out that the number of cases increases in a pace approximately similar to the one from the society. The school, hence, is not the basic source of spread of the virus,’’ Education, Culture and Research Minister Igor Sarov said.
