Moldovan cabinet approves new regulation on public procurement file

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet members, at a today’s meeting, approved a regulation on the compilation and preservation of the public procurement file. At the same time, the government abrogated a decision to this effect from 2008.
The regulation establishes the way of compilation and preservation of the public procurement file, which is ‘’drawn up and is preserved by the contracting authority which carries out public procurement procedures.’’
Under the document, the public procurement file is drawn up for each public procurement procedure separately and is preserved during five years after its initiation.
Except for cases when the court demands this, the contracting authority ensures the maintaining of the integrity of data and protection of the confidentiality of bids and applications on participation in all operations of communication, exchange and stocking of information.
After the expiration of the deadline of preservation of the public procurement file, the contracting authority can liquidate this file, excepting the contracts underway, the file of which can be liquidated only after the expiration of three years following the ceasing of the action of the public procurement contract.
