As many as 912 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,248 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 912 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which five import ones. As many as 74,233 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 59 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –19, medical assistants –32, auxiliary staff – 8.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 814 are in serious condition, of whom 43 patients are connected to assisted breathing; 1,265 patients are in medium seriousness condition, while the other patients are in satisfactory condition.

In the context, 6,563 people are treated at home with easy forms of COVID-19 and 24,569 are under supervision at the domicile.

Another 679 persons were treated and discharged from hospitals. As many as 54,495 people have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another18 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,747 people dead of coronavirus in all.
