Polling station from French city of Strasbourg to work accorting to short schedule

Chisinau, 30 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has established a special programme of work, at the presidential elections due on 1 November, for the polling station No 1/342, Strasbourg city, France, between the hours 7:00 and 20:00.
According to CEC, the decision was taken in the context of extension of restrictive measures by the authorities of France, related to the epidemiological situation triggered by COVID-19, as well as following the declaring of the highest degree of anti-terror alert, in the wake of the attacks in Nice and Avignon.
In the context, Moldova’s resident representation at the Council of Europe, with headquarters in Strasbourg, was notified by the city’s authorities that the access to the building where the polling station is to work would be ceased at 20:00.
Also today, CEC established a special schedule of activity for the polling station 1/307 from the Baku city, Azerbaijan.
