As many as 5,161 dwellings bought within First Home programme

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 5,161 dwelling have been bought through the First Home governmental programme so far. The overall sum of loans provided by banks is of 2.60 billion lei and the total value of active guarantees – 1.30 billion lei.
According to data unveiled by the Finance Ministry, 3,554 out of all beneficiaries are families and 1,607 are young unmarried people. The average age of the applicants is 31 years. Also, 785 persons benefit from compensations from the state budget within the First Home 2 programme, 1,986 – within the First Home 3 programme, 537 – within the First Home 4 programme and 6 – within the First Home 5 programme.
The average area of the dwellings bought through the programme is of 60 square metres and the average value of the dwellings is 599.58 thousand lei. As many as 4,733 dwellings are apartments and 428 are private houses out of all dwellings bought.
Any Moldova’s citizen with ages between 18 and 50 years, who are officially employed at a state institution or private company from Moldova, and have incomes from official sources, can be beneficiary of the First Home governmental programme.
