As many as 195 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,054 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 195 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which two import ones. As many as 76,777 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 12 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –5, medical assistants –6, auxiliary staff – 1.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 801 are in serious condition, of whom 38 patients are connected to assisted breathing; 1,521 patients are in medium seriousness condition, while the other patients are in satisfactory condition.   

In the context, 5,556 people are treated at home with easy forms of COVID-19 and 24,198 are under supervision at the domicile.      

Another 563 persons were treated and discharged from hospitals. As many as 56,875 people have been healed of COVID-19 in all.  

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 18 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,818 people dead of coronavirus in all.
