As many as 710 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 3 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,852 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 710 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which six import ones. As many as 77,487 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 36 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –13, medical assistants –15, auxiliary staff – 8.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 778 are in serious condition, of whom 40 patients are connected to assisted breathing; 1,494 patients are in medium seriousness condition, while the other patients are in satisfactory condition.   

In the context, 5,312 people are treated at home with easy forms of COVID-19 and 25,218 are under supervision at the domicile. 

Another 527 persons were treated and discharged from hospitals. As many as 57,402 people have been healed of COVID-19 in all.  

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 20 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,838 people dead of coronavirus in all.
