Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ -The staff of the independent candidate, Igor Dodon, today launched a proposal to PAS candidate Maia Sandu to organize two major debates on neutral ground, including one on public television and the second at the Academy of Economic Studies in Moldova.
Igor Dodon received dozens of invitations to TV and radio debates for the second round. "Therefore, we come up with proposals to ensure the organization of debates that cover a wide audience, and at the same time to respect the right of all media institutions to broadcast these debates. Thus, we propose that a debate take place on public television, a broadcaster with national coverage. However, in order to give private TV channels the opportunity to participate in a debate, we propose to organize the second debate on a neutral ground, for example the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova."
The debates could be moderated by two independent analysts.
