As many as 1,331 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 11 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,721samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,331 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 11 import cases. As many as 86,038 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 74 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –26, medical assistants –41 auxiliary staff employees –7.

As many as 2,970 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are put in hospitals, of whom 231 are in extremely serious condition (42 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 3,776 people are treated at home with easy forms of COVID-19 and 26,517 are under supervision at the domicile.

Another 1,115 persons were treated and discharged. As many as 67,270 people have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 19 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,969 people dead of coronavirus in all.
