Last hour: Voting process resumed at polling station No 1/349 Frankfurt, Germany!

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) ruled to suspend the voting process till 17:35, (Moldova’s time), in the wake of a bomb alert at the polling station No 1/349 from Frankfurt, Germany.

According to a press release by CEC, representatives of the Frankfurt police informed about the reception of a phone call on the placement of a bomb at the polling station No 1/349, Frankfurt.

In a short time, German specialized services went on the spot, to make additional verifications and discussions.

The head of the polling station ruled to suspend the voting till 17:35, Moldova’s time. The police evacuate the area; the entrance in the territory is not allowed for security reasons. Estimations by the police show that 1-1.5 hours will be needed for verifying the entire perimeter in terms of the explosive device.
