Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Border Police and the Customs Service of Moldova have informed that the Cahul-Oancea border crossing point (road/international) resumes works starting from today at 20:00.
Thus, the traffic will be reestablished through this border checkpoint both for passengers and carriers of goods. Yet, the measures of preventing COVID-19 will remain in force.
According to the Customs Service, a string of movement restrictions imposed by the pandemic period are maintained at the crossing of the state border. In this respect, the entrance into Moldova of foreigners and stateless people, who come from countries described as red zone, is banned; only some categories of people represent exceptions.
At the same time, the people who cross the state border entering Moldova and say that they are coming from the countries described as green zone will not fill in the epidemiological card and will not sign the declaration on their own responsibility on the observance of the self-isolation regime for a period of 14 days. If the starting point is placed in a country described as green country and countries described as red zone were transited during the travel, then the person is described as coming from the red zone.
