As many as 564 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,429 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 564 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which one import case. As many as 89,843 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 46 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 15, medical assistants – 24, auxiliary staff employees – 7.

A number of 3,172 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 253 are in extremely serious condition (47 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 4,095 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 26,789 are under supervision at the domicile.

Another 1,062 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 70,874 people were treated of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 16 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,035 people dead because of the virus till present.
