As many as 1,069 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 17 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,115 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,069 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which ten import case. As many as 90,912 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 82 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 30, medical assistants – 42, auxiliary staff employees – 10.

A number of 3,154 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 241 are in extremely serious condition (57 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 4,107 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 27,087 are under supervision at the domicile.

Another 1,185 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 73,059 people were treated of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 19 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,054 people dead because of the virus till present.
