Moldovan deputy premier for reintegration meets Ambassador of Ukraine

Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Olga Cebotari today had a courtesy meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova Marko Shevchenko. The sides discussed priorities in the near future in the sector of the country’s reintegration and in the field of the Transnistrian file.
According to the Reintegration Policies Bureau, the ambassador of Ukraine congratulated Olga Cebotari on her appointment to office, wishing success in her work, as its results have impact on the entire society. His excellence highlighted the every openness for cooperation in the long run. Shevchenko have assurances that Ukraine’s position as mediator in the Transnistrian settlement process remained unchanged and backed a solution which would confirm the statehood of Moldova, the country’s territorial integrity and security.
Deputy Prime Minister Olga Cebotari thanked for the wishes and support and for her part, voiced full openness for cooperation. The communication with all sides is very important and she spoke out for a peaceful settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, which can be achieved only through dialogue.
