Moldovan foreign affairs minister has meeting with Ambassador of United Kingdom

Chisinau, 19 November /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today received Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Moldova Steven Fisher. The diplomats appreciated the ascendant pace of development of the Moldovan-British relations, as well as the firm support showed by the UK for the implementation of the reforms’ agenda in Moldova.

According to the- Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service, the sides discussed also premises for continuing the post-Brexit bilateral relations through the signing of the Agreement on Partnership, Commerce and Cooperation, which is in the final stage of negotiation at present.

The official referred also to a string of priority subjects on the Moldovan-British bilateral agenda, among which the following things were reviewed: strengthening the cooperation within regional and international cooperation, current developments in the Transnistrian conflict settlement, cooperation on the European dimension, as well as changes on the dimension of culture and education.
