As many as 1,422 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,478 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,422 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which seven import ones. As many as 93,383COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 86 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 24, medical assistants – 40, auxiliary staff employees – 22.

A number of 3,326 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 251 are in extremely serious condition (51 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 4,506 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 27,450 are under supervision at the domicile.

Another 1,350 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 76,880 people were treated of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 20 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,111 people dead because of the virus till present.
