As many as 1,306 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 21 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,440 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,306 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which four import ones. As many as 96,689 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 104 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 34, medical assistants – 57, auxiliary staff employees – 13.

A number of 3,361 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 240 are in extremely serious condition (46 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 4,470 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 27,509 are under supervision at the domicile.

Another 1,232 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 78,112 people were treated of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 19 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,130 people dead because of the virus till present.
