As many as 477 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 23 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,425 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 477 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which five import ones. As many as 98,418 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 18 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 4, medical assistants – 12, auxiliary staff employees – 2.

A number of 3,526 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 273 are in extremely serious condition (41 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 4,757 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 27,168 are under supervision at the domicile.

Another 1,326 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 80,882 people were treated of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 20 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,169 people dead because of the virus till present.
