Chisinau Municipal Council amends capital's budget

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) today voted a decision on the amendment of the municipal budget for 2020 with 37 votes.

The decision to change the budget appeared in the wake of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, which led to a decrease in the financial resources accumulated in the municipal budget.

CMC has earlier approved the exemption and decreasing of local taxes, in order to help economic agents which reduced their work during the pandemic. Under the amendments to the budget, the sum of revenues dropped by 28 million lei.
