Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - A new electronic service – MPower – register of representation empowerments based on electronic signature, was launched by the Electronic Governance Agency (AGE) today. The service represented the novelty of the seventh week of the communication campaign, occasion by the tenth anniversary of the e-Governance in Moldova.
The MPower information system allows citizens from Moldova and fellow countrymen from abroad to give to third person empowerments of representation in any corner of the world. ‘’The MPower representation service allows, in a simple way, to provide empowerments based on the electronic signature and lasts only several minutes,’’ according to project manager Igor Bercu.
Also, the AGE’s legal consultant, Vadim Vintila, referred to the legal framework which stays at the basis of MPower’s functioning. ‘’The providing of representation empowerments can be made autonomously, without assistance on behalf of notary services; it is free of charge, reduces the costs and time of providing. It is accessible for private people and legal entities of public and private law, based on the qualified electronic signature,’’ Vintila said.
The participants in the event showed the way the new governmental service is accessed and provided recommendations to the future users on how the system practically works. At the same time, AGE specialists informed about willingness to provide guidance to all those who ask for support as regards the successful accessing of public digital services.
Besides the other new electronic services launched by the Electronic Governance Agency, the new platform of digital governance provides more benefits to users and fits into a string of services meant to improve the performance of governance in Moldova, reduce the costs, bureaucracy and bring the public services closer to the citizens’ needs.
MPower is based on the services MPass, MSign, MNotify, MLog, MConnect, MCabinet and MCloud, earlier launched by the Electronic Governance Agency.
