Moldovan speaker meets Ukrainian envoy

Chisinau, 25 November /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Zinaida Greceanii had a meeting on 24 November with Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova Marko Shevchenko, the pariament's communication and public relations department has reported.

The two officials addressed issues related to the political situation, pandemic crisis, interparliamentary cooperation between the two countries and other issues of common interest.

The sides exchanged views on the pandemic situation in Moldova and Ukraine.

Zinaida Greceanii and Marko Shevchenko also discussed cooperation at the interparliamentary level, emphasizing the importance of deepening relations between the parliament of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine through the parliamentary friendship group between the two states.

At the end of the meeting, they spoke out for advancing the bilateral dialogue and identifying new areas of cooperation between Moldova and Ukraine.
