Parliamentary committee to investigate mineral exploitation

Chisinau, 25 November /MOLDPRES/- Parliament will set up a committee of inquiry into the exploitation of useful mineral substances. The legal commission on rules and immunities approved a bill in this regard today.

According to the draft, the commission of inquiry will involve in work all state authorities responsible in the field, will hear the parties and persons involved and will present to the parliament within 90 days a report on results and conclusions of the investigation.

The commission of inquiry will be composed of MPs of all parliamentary factions, who will evaluate the existing legal framework, which regulates the field and shortcomings.

The draft decision is to be debated at parliament's plenary session.
