Moldovan parliament speaker has meeting with Ambassador of Swiss Confederation

Chisinau, 25 November /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today had a meeting with Kiev-based Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Moldova Claude Wild, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.

The main subjects tackled at the meeting were the present situation in Moldova and aspects of the cooperation between the two countries.  

The officials discussed the agenda of the bilateral relations and reconfirmed both states’ interest in the development of the inter-parliamentary cooperation at the level of specialty commissions and friendship groups. This will provide a larger   framework of consultancy and will allow exchanging experience and expertise in relevant sectors.  

In the end, the parliament speaker and the ambassador of the Swiss Confederation agreed on advancing the bilateral inter-parliamentary dialogue and cooperation in fields of common interest.
