Moldovan PM meets Belarusian envoy

Chisinau, 26 November /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Ion Chicu had a meeting with Ambassador of Belarus to Moldova Anatolii Kalinin. The officials discussed the intensification and consolidation of trade and economic relations, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The officials discussed joint projects on production cooperation and infrastructure development in the Republic of Moldova. Also, several issues related to bilateral foreign trade were addressed.
Kalinin said that by the end of the month, a batch of 10 articulated trolleybuses will be delivered, purchased by Chisinau city hall. The first transport units, produced in Belarus and assembled in Chisinau are already circulating on the streets of the capital.
At the same time, the premier urged Belarusian companies to examine the investment opportunities in Moldova offered by the 18 Multifunctional Industrial Platforms.
The Republic of Moldova has signed 113 bilateral agreements with the Republic of Belarus.
