Term of restoration of R1 road Chisinau-Ungheni-Sculeni extended by one year

Chisinau, 26 November /MOLDPRES/ - The term of implementation of the project on restoration of the R1 road Chisinau-Ungheni-Sculeni has been extended till the end of 2022.

The lawmakers today ruled to ratify the Amendment No 3 to the contract on financing between Moldova and the European Investment Bank (EIB) for carrying out the project on roads’ restoration in Moldova. The document’s goal is to extend the final date of availability of financial means provided based on the financing contract till 30 November 2021 and prolonging the period of implementation of the project itself till 31 December 2022.

The contract on financing signed between Moldova and EIB, worth 75 million euros, was ratified in April 2011. The Moldovan government asked to extend the term of implementation of the project on roads’ restoration.
