Moldova MPs make amendments to law on Customs Service

Chisinau, 26 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Customs Service might have right to equalize, at employees’ appointment to office, the special ranks provided with the ones offered by other authorities. The parliament today approved a draft law on amending the legislation to this effect in the first reading.

Thus, at the appointment to office, the special ranks of the Interior Ministry, as well as of the administrative authorities and the institutions subordinated to them, Intelligence and Security Service, National Anticorruption Centre, penitentiary administration system and State Fiscal Service, will be equalized. The equalizing of the special ranks will be made through the administrative act issued by the person or body with legal competence of appointment to office.

The parliament is to vote the draft law in the second reading.
