As many as 1,691 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 26 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,927 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,691 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which seven import ones. As many as 102,894 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 109 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 33, medical assistants – 55, auxiliary staff employees – 21.

A number of 3,499 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 253 are in extremely serious condition (52 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 4,975 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 28,782 are under supervision at the domicile.

Another 6,687 people have been treated and 5,538 people healed from the left bank of Dniester was added this this number, according to the authorities from the eastern districts. As many as 90,485 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.  

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 20 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,229 people dead because of the virus till present.
