About 11,000 leasing contracts recorded in early 2020

Chisinau, 27 November /MOLDPRES/- About 11,000 leasing contracts were recorded in the State Tax Service (SFS) in ten months of 2020.
According to the institution, in January-October, the Tax Service continued the measures of compliance and information of private people who lease real estate regarding the obligations set by legislation in force on registration of lease contracts. "As a result of the actions taken, 3,603 private people were identified who rent / lease real estate", SFS said.
Thus, 10,766 lease contracts were registered with the SFS.
The State Tax Service recommends that people renting property to comply with tax legislation and pay the tax in the amount of 7% of revenues.
