COVID-19 infection rate increased in Chisinau

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/- In November, the incidence rate of coronavirus reached 1866 diseases per one hundred thousand inhabitants of Chisinau, increasing compared to October.

The head of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health of the Chisinau city hall, Tatiana Bucearschi, said today at the online meeting of the municipal services that the pandemic situation in the capital is very serious and there is a continuous increase in serious and very serious cases. "In the municipal hospital institutions there are no more places for the treatment of COVID-19. All the 1042 beds are full", the official said.

The official said "the incidence rate with coronavirus reached 1866 diseases per hundred thousand inhabitants", increasing compared to October.

In Chisinau, during 2020, there were 44,952 COVID-19 diseases, of which 35,597 were cured.
