As many as 1,522 cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 4 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,611 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,522 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which six import ones. As many as 113,829 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 106 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 37, medical assistants –51, auxiliary staff employees – 18.

A number of 3,759 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 267 are in extremely serious condition (51 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

Another 727 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 98,276 people were treated of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 21 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,384 people dead because of the virus till present.
