Roadmen supervise public roads in winter conditions in Moldova

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/ - Works of patrol and combating the glazed frost have been carried out on the national public roads from northern and central Moldova, after fog and glazed frost in places were registered in Moldova, according to the State Administration of Roads (ASD).          

According to ASD, 17 special vehicles with the participation of 20 road workers were involved in the technological process.

According to the institution, presently, there are no blocked road segments; the road traffic on the national roads is carried out in winter conditions.  The works of patrol and combating the glazed frost continue.  

The State Administration of Roads warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation in force as to the endowment of vehicles and driving in winter conditions. If difficulties in traffic appear, to ask for roadmen’s intervention, they can call the phone numbers: 22-55-30; 74-89-61; 060 477 117.

The air temperature is to drop to -8 Celsius decrees at night and will oscillate between -3 and +2 Celsius decrees during the day. Snow and sleet is expected in the central and southern Moldova on 8 December, according to the State Hydrometeorological Service.
