Chisinau hospital enabled 130 places to treat COVID-19 patients

Chisinau, 10 December /MOLDPRES/- The Municipal Clinical Hospital of Phthisiopneumology in Chisinau has activated 130 places for the treatment of patients with mild forms of COVID-19.

The municipal authorities announced that the newly formed department for the treatment of COVID patients was filled with medical staff, who were trained and provided with the necessary equipment for interventions according to national protocols. At the same time, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection is to make available the quantity of medicinal preparations intended for the needs of the institution.

In this context, the last week current repair activities were initiated in block No2 of the Municipal Clinical Hospital of Phthisiopneumology.

For the renovation of block No2, the municipality has allocated 960 thousand lei, and the financial sources could be supplemented as needed.
