Nineteen settlements of Moldova disconnected from power supply because of bad weather

Chisinau, 10 December /MOLDPRES/ - Sixteen settlements are presently disconnected from power supply because of the bad weather in the central and southern Moldova and three settlements remained in blackout in the northern region.

According to data by the Economics and Infrastructure Ministry (MEI), as a result of complicated weather conditions, the state of power distribution networks was hit by the strong wind.

Forty one teams of specialists were mobilized in areas, in order to remedy the situation.

Three settlements are partially hit or disconnected in northern Moldova. Three teams of specialists were mobilized to put right the situation.

Meteorologists today issued a yellow code of glazed frost and the traffic takes place in complicated conditions on most roads.
