Anti-corruption campaign launched in Moldova

Chisinau, 11 December /MOLDPRES/- Report! Your attitude matters! is the slogan of a campaign launched today by the General Inspectorate of Police (IGP) and the National Anticorruption Center (CNA). It aims to inform citizens and police employees about the importance of reporting corruption and improper influence.

Through the campaign, the two institutions aim to contribute to raising public awareness by organizing various information activities throughout the country, providing citizens with accessible information on existing procedures and mechanisms for preventing and reporting cases of corruption.

Ion Pruteanu, head of department at CNA, said that it is important for everyone to be informed about the risks and consequences of corruption, the rigors of integrity, the importance of adopting honest behavior, condemning corruption and mechanisms for reporting it.

Training and distribution of information materials in the campaign will take place due to financial support from the European Union, in the context of the implementation of the Budget Support for Police Reform Program.
